COVID19 ALERT

We are open:
Pacific Pines Medical Centre is still open and seeing patients.
We are available for Phone Consults, Telehealth Consults (using ZOOM) and Normal Consults if hands on is needed.
During this time our Doctor's would prefer to do Phone or Telehealth Consults, and they may determine that you need to come into the practice
Phone the practice on 5529 8655 to book in with your Doctor.

What we are doing:
What we are doing to make our Practice safe for you and our Staff
 - We are limiting the number of patients in our waiting area.
 - We have removed all but 5 chairs in our waiting area
 - We have a roped off section from the counter to leave 1.5m between you and reception
 - We are cleaning chairs after each use
 - We are asking patients to wait outside or in their car and Doctors are coming to you
 - We are doing telephone or Telehealth Consultations
 - We are doing our Flu Clinics in another building
 - We are checking temperatures of all staff when they start their days
 - We are having meetings each morning to discuss COVID19

Children Immunisations:
We are encouraging parents to still book your children in for their immunisations when they are due.
This is very important to protect your children against other diseases.
We are only booking children immunisations in the mornings, to keep the number of patients to a minimum to make it safe for your family.

Flu Vaccines:
Our next batch of Government Flu Vaccines should arrive next week.
Children 6 months to <5 years of age is FREE and we are encouraging parents to have this done.
We have our Private Flu Vaccine in stock at $15.00 each.

Information for Pregnant Women: (click on the orange links)
Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) has developed a dedicated COVID19 webpage for pregnant women and their families.
While little is known about how the virus may affect women and their baby, this page will be updated regularly as information comes to hand.
Two videos are available: information about COVID-19 for pregnant women and how women can reduce their risk.
