Dr. Peter Yaxley

Dr Peter Yaxley is Australian-born, married, and has two grown-up children.

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery – University of Queensland
• Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine – Monash University
• Distance Course Certification in Palliative Medicine – Flinders University
• Qualified level 3 SCENAR Therapist RITM Australia

Dr Yaxley is a member of the Australian Film Institute and the Australian Writers Guild. He was the winner of the Best Foreign Film Award 2010 in USA at New Jerseys’ Hoboken Film Festival for “Unearthed”, a film he wrote, directed and produced.

He is a member of the Twin Towns Services Club (TTSC) and was once on the Board of Directors for TTSC where he also worked on the Community Foundation for community support programs.
